On May 11, 2020, the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov arrived in Poltava on a working trip.

He met with the head of the Department of Health of the Poltava Regional State Administration Viktor Lysak, the rector of the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy Vyacheslav Zhdan and the heads of some medical and preventive institutions of the city.

During the meeting, urgent issues of the state of the medical sector of the region and medical education were discussed.
