Graduation of Hope 2025: PSMU Presented Diplomas to Future Doctors

One of the most anticipated events took place at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) — the solemn graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025. This moment marked not just the completion of academic training, but a powerful testament to the resilience, determination, and professional motivation of future doctors. After all, pursuing an education during a pandemic and full-scale war is a true challenge.

The event began with a moment of silence to honor those who lost their lives in the russian-Ukrainian war. Attendees expressed sincere gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to study, grow, and dream of a peaceful future. A moving video reminded everyone of the challenging yet inspiring journey — from enrolling in 2019 to the most memorable moments of university life: studying, exams, cultural events, and supporting each other through hard times.

The ceremony began with recognition of outstanding students. Then, diplomas were awarded to 21 international graduates from the international and dental faculties, representing India, Pakistan, Tanzania, Nepal, Morocco, Nigeria, Jordan and Uganda.

Ukrainian students from the Dental Faculty, Medical Faculty No. 1, and Medical Faculty No. 2 also received their diplomas, marking the end of their studies at PSMU.

The event concluded with warm wishes, words of encouragement, and unwavering belief in future achievements — both personal and for the country as a whole. For every graduate, this day was not just the culmination of years of hard work, but the true beginning of a great mission. From now on, their path is a calling — to serve people and contribute to the development of Ukrainian and global medicine.

For it is they who will shape its future — full of hope and professional victories.
