On the eve of the Day of Defender of Ukraine and the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks, which is celebrated on October 14 on the Day of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin, the rector of the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy, Professor Vyacheslav Zhdan met with the UMSA Veterans Council and teachers of disaster medicine and military medicine.

The glorious traditions of national history were discussed, the courage and heroism of Ukrainian soldiers were mentioned.
